Spring Must Be Here - Voss BBQ Is Open

Central New York's favorite hot dog joint is now officially open for the 2018 season.

Despite the fact that Mother Nature hasn't gotten the memo and is sending us her extra inventory of winter, Voss BBQ has opened their doors meaning that spring is that much closer to actually showing up in CNY.

Last year, Voss was named the best hot dog in all of New York State by the food website 'First We Feast,' and their 'hot dog blogger' Hawk Krall.

If you missed that announcement last year, now you can head over to Voss and see for yourself!

Voss on Oriskany Street is open daily from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Voss at the Utica Zoo is set to open this coming weekend (4/21), and Voss at the Ilion Marina will open on May 1st.

As of today the Ice Cream window is only serving floats and shakes until the weather improves, but the food window is completely open and ready for business!

If you're heading out today be sure to bundle up though, it might get cold standing in that notoriously long line!
