The City of Utica has announced that a SNOW EMERGENCY will go into effect at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The Village of Whitesboro will also have a snow emergency from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. with no unnecessary travel in the Village.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Wednesday in anticipation of more than a foot of snow hitting Central New York.

All vehicles must be of Utica City streets by 10 a.m. Wednesday(2/7/18) and Whitesboro streets by 9 a.m. to give plows ample space to clear snow off the streets.

This applies to all streets within Utica limits with no exceptions. Your vehicle will be ticketed or even towed if left on the street after 10 a.m. Wedensday(2/7/18).
