Another Winter Storm Bringing ‘Significant Snow’ to Central New York
Central New York is about to see what the National Weather Service is calling 'significant snow' that could cause travel problems. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from Wednesday morning through 4am Thursday with up to a foot of snow possible.
The snow will move into the area quickly Wednesday morning. The National Weather Service says snow will fall West of 81 between 6 and 9am and East of 81 between 8 and 11am. The snow will be heavy at times, especially late Wednesday morning into the afternoon.
Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the morning commute on Wednesday. Significant reductions in visibility are also possible.
If the snow isn't enough, windy conditions will make the 25 degree temperatures feel like negative 2.
If there are any school delays or closings we'll have them tomorrow morning,. You can also get them through the Big Frog 104 app or at BigFrog104.com.
If you're sick of Winter and the snow, this is for you...
