5 Senior Cats Looking For A Home For The 2016 Christmas Season In Central New York
During the Christmas season maybe you are considering adding a new furry friend to your household. What about a nice senior cat from one of Central New York's animal shelters? They still have the best years ahead of them.
By no means is there anything wrong with wanting to adopt a younger cat. However, people tend to forget about older pets that still need a home. These animals are still lovable, and extremely loyal. This Christmas season, it would be amazing to find homes for all homeless cats and dogs in the Central New York region.
Here are five cats that are in their senior years and looking for a home this Christmas:
Boo is currently available at the Humane Society of Rome.
Hello, my name is Boo! I'm a 14 year old, female kitty who needs a home. My adoption fee is only $50 and includes my spay, vaccines, and microchip. I'm a nice girl who deserves a forever home so please come meet me soon!
Tiger Lily is currently available at the Humane Society of Rome.

Giselle is currently available at the Wanderers' Rest Humane Association of Canastota.
Giselle is a stunning black and brown classic tabby who at 9 years old still would love a warm home to retire too to live out the rest of her years in comfort. Giselle is the best lap cat and could spend hours snuggling up by your side. Come meet this beauty today and fall in love"
Billy is currently available at the Rescueadopt.com-Upstate New York.
His name is Billy and he is a gray tabby. He just turned 14 years old. I adopted him in 2011 when he was 9 years old. At the time I had a mild cat allergy but managed it just fine. I found out I was pregnant in Nov 2014. Shortly after that I was wracked with severe eczema, asthma and allergies. I thought it would go away after my son was born but my son is now 9 months old and I am still suffering every day."
Clover is available at the Susquehanna Animal Shelter of Cooperstown.
Clover is an older girl with a lot of personality! She is a love-bug! Clover is a big girl with a big heart. Come and meet her!"
