It's a big night for the Utica Comets who try to overcome a 2-0 deficit in the AHL Calder Cup finals. Before the puck drops at 7pm at the Utica Audi, the Calder Cup will make it's rounds during the tailgate party. You can get your picture with the cup that has been around since 1937. Just don't TOUCH THE CUP. It's said to bring bad luck and with the Comets being down 2 games, they can use all the good luck they can get.

The cup is named after Frank Calder, who was the first commissioner of the AHL. It was remodeled in 2001 and is made out of sterling silver, mounted on a Brazilian mahogany base.

Each member of the winning team will get to keep the Calder Cup for a day.

Tad & I even took a #CalderCupSelfie.
