Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina Releasing Songs Day After Idol Finals

Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina will give us a country filled night on American Idol.  They'll both sing new songs that will be officially released Thursday, a day after the winner is announced.  The songs will also be available on iTunes Tuesday night after Idol airs.  Scotty will sing "Love You This Big" and Lauren's song is called "Like My Mother Does."  Each will sing two other songs, a favorite from the season and one chosen for them.  Idol winner Carrie Underwood picked Lauren's song and Scotty choice came from George Strait.

Both will also be going on the American Idol Live tour that will make a stop in Syracuse at the War Memorial On-Center September 6th.  Tickets are on sale now.
