According to Sheilas' Wheels, a British insurance company, 40% of couples save their most important conversations for the car. Although the study does not quite say why they do, it's obvious the car is the only place you cannot escape, especially when you save those long-winded conversations for the highway. There's no "tuckin' and rollin'".

So, reading this study took me on a trip down memory lane thinking about all the conversations I have had while driving in a car. And, the most awkward times come when I got trapped by my parents to have the dreaded "facts of life" talk. But, looking back, it's smart on a parent's part to have these conversations in a speeding car because...there's no way out.

Talk to me. What has been your most awkward, agonizing, uncomfortable, irritating conversations in an automobile? Well, let's expand it. If these conversations have never happened in a car, how about a train, plain or boat?
