Saratoga Springs College Offers Miley Cyrus Course, No Twerking Involved

This summer you can take a course on Miley Cyrus at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs and no twerking is required.  The liberal arts school will offer 'The Sociology of Miley Cyrus.'

Professor Carolyn Chernoff will use the controversial singer to discuss media and how society talks about topics like the female body, class and race. Students will also look into how Miley used the media to shape her persona over the years.

I'm not sure a summer is long enough to talk about everything that's happened to Miley since her Hannah Montana days.

Chernoff tells the Saratogian, 'Sorry, dudes, but this is sociology. Learn to twerk on your own time.'
