For the first time since 1977, we will have a full moon on Christmas Day. The National Weather Service in Binghamton encourages people to take note of this since it is so rare. The next time we will see a full moon on Christmas is 2034.



Not for another 19 years, hopefully we will clear out in time late Christmas Eve!-Erik

What's the big deal, we see full moons all the time? Well, if you have a kid looking for Santa they have the best shot of seeing something with the full moon in the sky. Rudolph can be reliable and has been for years, but nothing beats the glow of the full moon light.
