Santa Claus Kicks Off Christmas In Ilion, Senior Ball

The Village of Ilion will host Holiday Hoopla on December 15, but first Santa has to arrive with some fanfare.

This year Christmas in Ilion will start Sunday, December 9 with Santa coming to town on his sleigh escorted by his Elves from the Ilion and Frankfort Fire Departments.

Santa will be lighting the Village Christmas Tree and then visiting with area kids at the Knights of Columbus beginning at 5:30 PM.

On Thursday, December 13th, the New Vision Pioneers will again sponsor the “Senior Ball” with a dinner created by Chef Michael Maiorano, music by “The Sounds of John Seymour” and a basket raffle.

The festivities will be at the Ilion Knights of Columbus, doors will open at 5:00 and the entertainment will begin at 5:30.
