Sometimes the Christmas presents are smarter than we are. And for many, that's true of the new Lego Robots. Here comes Cornell Cooperative Extensions' 4-H Youth Development to the rescue with a Robotic Workshop.

Lynette Kay says even if you don't own a robot, but would like to learn more about them, attend the workshop as part of the 2016 4-H Oneida County STEM challenge.

Nathan McDonald, from Rome Lab, has volunteered to lead the workshop designed to teach youth and adults how to build and program the robot.  There will also be an opportunity to discuss starting engineering programs like First Lego League.

The workshop is Monday, January 18 from 1-3:30pm at CCE's Oneida County offices on 121 Second Street in Oriskany.  Space is limited and RSVP is required. You can register online or call Lynette at 736-3394 extension 105.
