Randy Travis Released From Hospital

Great news for a change with Randy Travis.  He has been released from Baylor Heart Hospital following a 4 week stay following heart problems and a stroke.  Click for more details.

Randy was hospitalized July 7 after suffering from viral cardiomyopathy.  Following a procedure to implant a pump to help with his heart's function, his health seemed to be on the mend, only to see another setback as had a stroke.

His publicist didn't offer many details.

Randy Travis has been discharged from Baylor Heart in Plano, Texas.  Mr. Travis has been relocated to a physical therapy facility.

 

His fiancee', Mary Davis continues to thank fans for their prayers and their incredible show of support. Even crediting them with speeding his recovery.  The family promise more updates at Randy's website.
