Parents Share Heart Breaking Photos of Stillborn Baby To Keep Memory Alive and Help Other Families
No parent should have to endure the heart break of losing a child. Emily and Richard Staley lost their beautiful daughter before she was even born, but her memory lives on thanks to these heart wrenching photos.
Monroe Faith Staley was a stillborn, dying after the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck. Despite the devastation, Emily and Richard wanted to remember their little girl and shared their story; hoping it'll bring comfort to other families who have experienced such tragedy.
After Monroe was born, Linsdey Natzic-Villatoro of Love Song Photographer captured special, heart breaking moments the family will have forever and those who see them won't ever forget.
The family have felt your prayers and appreciate ever last one. They pray you'll share their story to bring awareness to stillbirths and remember Monroe's life, not her death. Natzic-Villatoro tells the Huffington Post, 'It's almost like people classify them as not even having a child. They don't give them that validation at all. But I firmly believe that you are a mother when you have a stillbirth. You are still a mother regardless of the fact that your child is not living.'
'People say time healing all wounds, but there are certain sorrows that never fade away until the heart stops beating and the last breath is taken, Natzic-Villatoro wrote on Facebook.
