Are those bumpy roads finally getting fixed in Utica? Mayor Robert Palmieri announced a plan using two pot hole killers.

“I am aware of the City’s poor road conditions, and we are utilizing every resource we have to address this problem," said Palmieri during a press conference. "Specifically, the City will be leasing two Pothole Killers and contracting for a Tack Machine, as well as utilizing our Hot Box.”

The city will also be appropriating CDBG funds for road paving in targeted areas.

Since the "Pothole Campaign," was announced last month, the DPW has fixed about 3,000 reported potholes and counting. If you know a pot hole that needs fixing, the Mayor is encouraging you to use the Utica 311 app.
