Oneida County Celebrates Dairy Day March 30

Cornell Cooperative Extension is celebrating Dairy Day in Oneida County Thursday, March 30.  Featured speakers with discuss all things dairy from the barn to the field during the day.  

The program runs from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.at CCE's Farm and Home Center in Oriskany.  Morning coffee and registration starts at 9 with the program getting underway at 10.  Presentations planned for the day include:

• Growing the Heifer You Want….Invest Wisely
• Calculating Your Cost of Production and
• Using Results to Manage Expenses
• Manure Use as a Fertilizer Replacement
• Forage Quality
• Reading Soil Tests and more
