Clare Crawley's season of The Bachelorette may have been put on hold for months amidst the coronavirus pandemic, but it's now in full swing as a large group of men vie for her heart.

While none of this season's men originate from Central New York, we do have a - sort of - local guy to root for.

Riley Christian, the 30-year-old attorney from Long Island City, is actually a Syracuse University alumni. According to his bio on ABC's website, Christian moved to New York and attended Syracuse School of Law to "pursue his dreams of being a big city lawyer." He now practices medical malpractice and looks forward to starting a family.

Just two episodes into the new season of The Bachelorette, Christian has already made a good impression, earning himself a group date rose and a kiss from Crawley.

Christian's bio also reveals that he is a "karaoke legend among his colleagues," knows all the lyrics to Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe," and likes slow dancing.
