Newest Winter Sport – Parasledding

If the X-Games get you excited for extreme winter sports, you'll love what some are calling a new sport invention.  Eric Oddy took paragliding and added a snowmobile and came up with parasledding.  Check out the video.

Oddy, a British Columbia resident, tells Global BC he's been paragliding for 25 years and suddenly got the idea to hook his glider to snowmobile.  He thinks he has invented a new extreme winter sport.  I think he's right, it's definitely extreme.

“To attach a paraglider to a snowmobile and make it airborne, I think is a great accomplishment,” says Oddy. “I’ve been working on this for three years, and now I am ready to do some big Red Bull stunts.”
