A missing hiker was found 12 hours after going missing.

The hiker, 58 year-old Yi Sun of Westfield, New Jersey, called 911 around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 16th and was unable to identify where she was. She told 911 dispatcher she was in a muddy area near a creek and could see power lines.

Shortly after midnight, troopers on a roving patrol located Sun near the area of Routes 34/96 north of Decker Road in Ithaca. She was transported to Cayuga Medical Center for treatment and her family was contacted.
