New York Cops Dig 99-Year-Old Woman Out Of Over Foot Of Snow
New York cops not only protect and serve, they apparently do some serious shoveling too. Three police officers who helped dig out a 99-year-old woman barricaded inside her house by over over a foot of snow have gone viral.
According to a tweet by Steve Smith from the Albany Police, a 99-year-old woman called into the station asking for some help as over a foot of snow tuned the Capital Region into something out of Frozen 2. Three Albany Police officers sprang into action using a snowblower and a few shovels to dig the elderly woman out.
The good deed was picked up by People magazine.
The Albany Police department Facebook post has nearly 3 thousand shares and the good news spread quickly as everyone themselves tried to shovel out of this mess.
