Hey there! It's me, Brian. Since you're here, let me tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in Albany and currently live there with my girlfriend Samantha and our two cute little doggies named Biggie and Tiny. Adding to the nuthouse is my son Brody who is growing up incredibly fast, but getting more and more talented, funny, and handsome by the day. I feel very lucky to be able to spend time with you in the morning making you laugh, making you think, and sometimes even making you a little angry. But man, it's a privilege to do the show each and every day with Chrissy. I enjoy writing and talking about all things sports, wildlife, Capital Region nostalgia, interesting local people, and any and all of the quirky things I observe while living in the 518. Gone, But Not Forgotten! A Nostalgic Last Look Inside Upstate NY Mall
Nothing tugs at our emotional heartstrings like seeing old photos from places or events in Upstate New York that take us back to a specific time or a place in our lives.
The following gallery will more than likely do just that - as we've been able to obtain a massive gallery of quality photos taken from inside the iconic Latham Circle Mall, just a short time before it was demolished in 2013...

Another Comedian Dumps on Upstate NY – Others Join in On Laugh
I'm sorry that comedian Patton Oswalt had a terrible trip on his way into Upstate, New York over the weekend - but he didn't have to crap all over Troy, did he? It's one thing when we do it, but c'mon man...
Perhaps a little road weary, Oswalt was just moments away from hitting the stage at the Troy Savings Bank Musical Hall when he took a shot at The Collar City.

“I Hope I’m More Responsible” – Sam Hunt on Being a Dad in 2018 Upstate NY Interview
It's kind of hard to listen to the interview I did with Sam Hunt back in the summer of 2018 during the Taste of Country Music Festival.
It was a Sunday, and I remember it well.
I was nervous and excited to talk to Hunt who was set to perform in front of 20,000 plus at the country music festival previously held at Hunter Mountain...
Fear the Deer! Upstate Man Wakes Up to Army of 40 Hungry Deer
It's not uncommon to see large gatherings of deer in rural parts of Upstate New York, but a sight like this is certainly a bit unusual.
Check out the video below of what looks like as many as 40 hungry deer staring down a man in Greene County, waiting patiently to fill their bellies.

Mountain Miracle! Two Skiers Somehow Survive an Avalanche in the ADKs
This is an incredible story that took place over the weekend on a mountain trail in the Adirondacks. Thank goodness everyone is okay, and while the details are still somewhat sketchy, this might make one heckuva movie someday.
Two skiers were swept up in an avalanche over the weekend that quite frankly, could have killed them both. But...
BRRR-MAID! Brave Mermaid has Photo Shoot at Ice Castles on Lake George
Q: What's a mermaid's favorite type of picture? A: a shell-fie.
We may not see any shelI-fies in this particular batch of photos, but you must give this woman, I mean 1/2 woman 1/2 fish, all the credit in the world. Just look at that outfit!
I won...
Dude! Who Parked Their Car On Top of a Smokestack in Amsterdam?
You know you're from Montgomery County when you're driving through town and the cars on the road are in worse shape than the one sitting on top of that giant smokestack right there!
I was in Amsterdam a few months ago for a Make a Wish event and in typical "Brian fashion," I may have gotten a bit lost trying to find the spot that my girlfriend Samantha and I needed to be...
