New Retail Chain Could Fill New Hartford Kmart Space
It looks like the vacancy left by Kmart in New Hartford could soon be taken over by a home decor store.
WKTV is reporting that 'At Home' - a home and holiday decor superstore - is in negotiations with New Hartford officials to fill the empty Kmart building.
WKTV says 'At Home' has to file an application for the store with the New Hartford planning board by September 22.
This would be the second 'At Home' store to open in Central New York, with the first being in Destiny U.S.A.
'At Home' offers everything for inside and outside your home including furniture, decorations, art, floor coverings and seasonal decorations.
