New Hartford Lands On Top 100 School Districts For Best Teachers

Here in Central New York, we have amazing school systems with amazing educators. In a list of the top 100 New York school districts, Upstate New York landed on the list 21 times.

This list comes from Niche.com's 2017 ranking of the school districts with the best teachers. The website grades every school district across the country on how well their teachers perform. They look at data like academics proficiency ratings, parent and student surveys on teachers and teacher absenteeism.

On the list, New Hartford Central School District landed at number 45. The ranking posted on NewYorkUpstate shows that New Hartford got almost a perfect report card:

Teachers Grade: A+

Overall Grade: A+

Average Teacher Salary: $67,217

Student to Teacher Ration: 13:1"

Number one on the list was Great Neck Public Schools located in Great Neck New York.
