According to our sister station, WIBX:

"Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi says the Governor’s New York Works Program will fund several infrastructure projects in the Mohawk Valley.

Five specific projects, including three bridge work and two pavement projects will receive $1.5 million in state funding and $6-million in federal funding.

Among the projects to receive funding will be road improvements to Route I-790 from Leland Avenue to Edic Road and French Road from Burrstone Road to Chenango Road.

Brindisi says creating jobs and repairing the aging infrastructure are two major priorities and the projects will help with both."
