It's embarrassing enough to fall when someone is watching. It's even more embarrassing when it's in front of hundreds of people. Mark Donnelly, who sings the Canadian National Anthem before Vancouver Canucks games, did a face plant at center ice during a Penticton Vees game.

Instead of standing on the ceremonial red carpet to deliver 'O Canada,' Donnelly donned a tux and skated around the rink while singing. He must have forgotten about the carpet, that was still at center ice, and tripped, going head first into the ice.

Being the pro he is, Donnelly kept on singing, despite getting caught up in the carpet.

How the players who were line up on the ice and got a front row seat to the face plant didn't burst out laughing is beyond me.  I've watched it four times and have laughed every time.

I wonder if the fall left a mark like one I suffered when I tumbled down the stairs. At least my fall didn't go viral with over 700,000 views.

Have you fallen in public?
