More Ideas For Kids During Mid-Winter Break

OK, the kids are home from school this week and want to do something different. Here's a great idea.

Years ago during a snow day, I took the day off and kept the kids busy. One of the places I took them was the Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute on Genesee Street in downtown Utica, and they had a great time! There are so many interesting works of art from paintings to sculptures and more.

And there's a special children's event taking place this Friday at the Museum Of Art.."Art Alive", from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
