The percentage of facelifts for men has been increasing, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Statistics from ASPS show there has been a 14 percent lift [pun intended] in facelifts from 2009 to 2010.

Other popular plastic surgeries for men that have seen percentage increases from 2009 to 2010 are ear surgeries with an 11 percent increase, soft tissue fillers--10 percent, botox--9 percent and liposuction--7 percent.

In an article by U.S. News and World Report, Dr. Phillip Haeck President of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons said, "Men are paying more attention to their appearance." And, he says the popular age group for facelifts are those who are in their 50s and 60s. "This generation has paid a lot of attention to how they look, and they don't want to grow old gracefully."
