To commemorate the 11th anniversary of the September 11th terror attacks, a Utah man plans to sing and sing and sing.

Alan Foote started his crooning of Lee Greenwood's 'God Bless the USA' yesterday.  He plans to sing the patriotic song 911 times with the last time occurring at 6:40am on September 11th.  He's hoping the community will stop whatever they're doing and sing with him for the 911th time.

He got the idea after kids were banned from singing the anthem during their graduation ceremony in New York City.  The principal refused to let the Coney Island kindergarteners to sing the song.   Local kids stepped up to show their support by singing their own version of the song.  Lee Greenwood also talked with us about the controversy.
