Madison County Needs 4-H Volunteers – Ag Matters
It may be the best age-defying drug there is, working with our youth. It'll make you feel good about yourself and help pilot the direction of a young person. Cornell Cooperative Extensions' 4-H Youth Development in Madison County is looking for volunteers to give kids a head start on life.
4-H members learn valuable skills, have fun, make new friends, solve problems, earn awards, practice citizenship, develop leadership abilities and make a difference in their communities. You could make a difference by spending time with these youth and engage them in conversation and related activities. Have experience in:
- Animal Science
- Science & Technology
- Citizenship
- Healthy Living
- Mentoring
- Horticulture
You would be an excellent candidate to become a 4-H leader. Becoming a volunteer is easy. You will get more involved in your community and there's nothing wrong with giving back. You could help these youth build a better future.
