The Louisville Cardinals were crowned champions last night as they knocked off the Michigan Wolverines 82-76 in the NCAA National Championship game. It looked bleak for the No. 1 overall seed Louisville as they fell behind by 12 early in the first half. An improbable run sparked by Luke Hancock's 4 consecutive 3-point baskets brought Louisville back into the game. Hancock ended up with 22 points and named most outstanding player as the Cardinals outlasted the Wolverines in the second half. With the win coach Rick Pitino became the first ever head coach to win a National Championship with 2 teams. Watch highlights and read more here.
