The list of stores closing doors for Thanksgiving is starting to grow. Several companies will close this year, allowing employees time with their families for the holiday.

A Boycott Black Thursday Facebook page was created for the shopping season in 2014 and is gaining momentum this season.

There's also a Change.org petition asking upstate New York's largest Mall owner Pyramid Corporation to close on Thanksgiving Day as well. Pyramid owns Sangertown Square in New Hartford and Destiny USA in Syracuse.
