Keith Urban Tells Conan About Getting Fired From A Band

Fresh from getting to play with the Rolling Stones, Keith Urban was a guest on the Conan Show on TBS.  As amazing as it may seem, Keith shared a story about getting fired from a heavy metal band as a teenager, for playing Ricky Skaggs music.  Click to watch the video.

He may have some rock influences in his guitar playing but Keith grew up on country even during the formative years. Apparently it showed in his performance.
