Kacey Musgraves To Perform As Part Of MVCC Cultural Series March 29th, 2015

One of the biggest up-and-coming female country artists is coming to Utica! The MVCC Cultural Series, along with their Spring 2015 media partner The Best and Most Country BIG FROG 104 is pleased to announce that Grammy and CMA award-winning country music star Kacey Musgraves will headline the College’s big-name concert on Sunday, March 29, at 7 p.m. in the Robert R. Jorgensen Athletic and Event Center on the Utica Campus. The show will feature an opening set by special guests, John and Jacob.  Musgraves, who won the Country Music Association’s New Artist of the Year Award in 2013, hit the ground running in 2014 with an Academy of Country Music Award for Album of the Year (“Same Trailer, Different Park"), a CMA award for Song of the Year (“Follow Your Arrow”), and two Grammys (Best Country Song and Best Country Album). It's safe to say that Musgraves is well on her way to being one of country music’s hottest stars. Tickets will go on sale Monday, February 2, 2015, at 12:01 a.m. at mvcc.edu/tickets.
