Johnny Cash’s New Album ‘Out Among The Stars’ Hits #1

Although Country Music legend Johnny Cash has been dead for over 10 years his music lives on! His latest album, "Out Among The Stars," which contains never before released music, has reached #1 on the Billboard music charts in the Country genre. In it's first week of sales, The Man in Black's newly released album has sold 54,000 copies. In the all-genre category "Out Among The Stars" is coming in at #3 behind the "Frozen Soundtrack" and Shakira's self-titled album.

Cash's new album features songs that were previously recorded at Columbia Studio in 1981 and 1984. The songs were originally produced by Billy Sherrill. These unreleased tracks were discovered by Cash's son John Carter Cash.
