With grocery prices still feeling painfully high, who wouldn't love the chance to score some free food?

ALDI is tapping into the popularity of surprise boxes with a new promotion that will give shoppers a chance to claim free mystery grocery bundles starting next week.

ALDI Blind Boxes Drop June 22-25

The limited-time "ALDI Blind Box" promotion kicks off Monday, June 22. A new themed box will be released each day at noon Eastern through Thursday, June 25.

Boxes are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

The four themes are:

  • Snack Box: Filled with sweet, salty and crunchy favorites for those snack cravings.
  • Fiber Box: Packed with products aimed at helping you get more fiber into your diet.
  • Protein Box: Loaded with protein-rich foods and grocery staples.
  • Mystery Box: This one is exactly what it sounds like. ALDI says it will include a mix of surprises.

How To Get An ALDI Mystery Box

Visit the ALDI Blind Box website at noon each day and claim that day's box by entering your delivery information.

ALDI will reveal which themed box is dropping each day ahead of time on its Instagram page, @aldiusa.

Because supplies are limited, boxes are expected to go quickly.

Why Is ALDI Giving Away Free Mystery Boxes?

The promotion is inspired by the huge popularity of mystery and unboxing culture. From Pokémon cards and baseball cards to the viral labubu craze, people love the excitement of not knowing exactly what's inside.

ALDI says the boxes are designed to help shoppers discover new favorites and shake up their grocery routine.
