These Rome 7th graders made their way to school in style Tuesday morning.

As part of Rome City Schools' Junior ROTC program, students had the chance to sign up to win a 'Ride to School with a Rome Police Officer' contest.

The big winners are Armando and Angelo Acevedo, who got to ride in a police car all the way to school!

The twin boys were picked up Tuesday morning by RPD officers Hoag and Utter, then they stopped to see their Mom Kaleena at work before heading off to school.

Each boy got to ride 'shotgun' with an officer in a full police escort complete with flashing lights, sirens and a motorcade of Rome Police cars.
