Ilion Police Warn Of Counterfeit Bills

Ilion Police are warning residents and business owners to beware of counterfeit money circulating throughout the village.

The bills have markings on them that look like Chinese or Japanese writing, and the IPD says if you see these or any odd markings on your bills, that may be an indicator that it is counterfeit.

If you think you might be in possession of a fake bill, contact your bank or the Ilion Police at 315-894-9911.
