How does the state of New York spend our money? Good question. Now, thanks to a bill passed by the state Senate, we may be able to find out easily, and even chime in with our ideas.

According to our sister station, WIBX:

The New York State Senate today passed legislation to create a new website that will let the public see how government agencies are spending tax dollars.

The bill, sponsored by State Senator Joe Griifo, creates a new website called ResultsNY.gov. It will allow the public to view government expenditures as well as submit suggestions on how to save money."
