Here are the details from our sister station, WIBX:

One of the most important documents in the history of the United States will be on display tomorrow and Wednesday at the Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute in Utica.

Museum Curator Anna D’Ambrosio says the exhibit “The First Step to Freedom” will feature the only surviving version of President Abraham Lincoln’s hand-written Preliminary Emancipation Proclamation.

The exhibit will also include the manuscript of a speech written and delivered by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in 1962 for the Proclamation’s centennial.

The exhibit is free.

The Museum will be open from 9:00 to 9:00 both days."
