Much of western New York, and as far north as Watertown have been under a Lake Effect Snow warning for the past few days. Here's a look at what's going on.

While we may see a few flurries and maybe a snow shower here in Central New York, Buffalo and Watertown won't be so lucky.

If you have plans to travel west or north, take a look at the radar map and live webcams before you head out so you'll know what you could be getting in to.

WKBW news Buffalo reported that the Lake Effect Snow Warning is expected to last through Friday morning.

Here's a look at the radar for the western/northern region:

Be sure to take extra care if you absolutely have to travel that way.

It's not looking as bad as it was in 2014, but it's always better to be safe than sorry.
