Have something fresh for lunch at a unique greenhouse cafe in New York.

Origins Cafe sits inside a greenhouse in Cooperstown, serving farm to table meals. Co-owners Dana & Kristen Leonard are on a mission to bring positive change to the world through their food. Their mission statement is even right on the menu.

“We believe in the power of food and community to change the world. Together through our food choices, we can create a world in which biodiversity thrives and small farms prosper. Change starts here.”

All meals are created from organic foods from more than 20 local farms and the greenhouse. You can enjoy a variety of local cheeses for an appetizer. Choose from a number of salads with fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs. Have a panini filled with locally raised beef or chicken. Wash it down with wine, beer or even a mimosa. And no meal is complete without dessert. I'll take the Peach Bourbon Cake and homemade ice cream.

"Our foods are homegrown and homemade with love every day," says Leonard.

Origins Cafe is at 558 Beaver Meadow Road in Cooperstown New York. Learn more at CelebrateOrigins.com or on Facebook.
