Ok it was made for the entire northeast, but it seems like it was made just for Central New York.

The new flavor is called 'Nor'easter Pothole,' and if that doesn't make you feel right at home you're going to have to wait quite a while for 'chicken riggie' ice cream.

Nor'easter Pothole has chocolate ice cream that has a fudge swirl, along with crushed chocolate crème cookies and chocolate chips.

A preliminary check of a few grocery stores in the Valley came up short for me, but better luck might be found in the Utica/Rome area.

Since we're in the midst of another snowstorm, you can skip the guesswork and use Friendly's Ice Cream Locator to find the stores here in CNY who have the new flavor in stock.
