Former ‘Bachelor’ & ‘Bachelor Pad’ Star Gia Allemand Is Dead

Former star of 'The Bachelor' and 'Bachelor Pad,' Gia Allemand has died after an apparent suicide attempt.  Her boyfriend, NBA player Ryan Anderson found her Monday night at her New Orleans home, unconscious.  She was taken to the hospital where she was put on life support and never regained consciousness. Gia was taken off life support today with her friends and family by her side.

Gia appeared on 'The Bachelor' in 2010 for Jake Pavelka's season then went on to star in the first two seasons of the 'Bachelor Pad.'

Friends tweeted their shock at the news and prayers for her family.

What a tragic loss at a such a young age.  Rest in peace Gia. You will be missed by friends, family and fans across the country.

Rumors are Gia was upset over the status of her relationship with Anderson, but they looked happy in pictures on her Facebook page and Instagram.
