The Red Panda Wins Close Contest for Best Animal at The Utica Zoo

Two of the newest additions to the Utica Zoo family are two Red Pandas named Roshani and Malina. They also happened to take home the honor of 'Best Animal' at the zoo. It was a close race the whole time and there were only two votes separating #1 and the runner-up.

It was the African Lions that came in 2nd place with 48 votes, two less than the pandas' 50. In a surprising twist, Eeyore the Donkey came in alone at third place as a write-in vote.

No matter which animal you cast your vote for all the animals living here in Utica are worthy of the title.
