If you have a Rascal Flatts fan on your holiday shopping list, you may want to pick up the new All Access & Uncovered / The Making Of Changed And Beyond DVD.

DVD Details

Joe Don Rooney, my favorite of the three Flatts, says the DVD is 'an in-depth look into Rascal Flatts and what made us who we are. It gives an inside look at some of the difficulties and challenges we've faced over the past 12 years. Its a side of us fans really haven't seen before.'

The DVD includes lots of extras.  'There's 5 videos and behind the scenes making of each video as well as the making of the album changed.' It also touches on a time when Rascal Flatts was ready to throw in the towel a few years ago.  'It's not fun stuff, but its real.  We decided to let our guard down and let the world see into our life'  Joe Don says on the outside it looks like a rosy picture but 'there's a lot more going on.'  You'll hear all of it and even see some tears.  Joe Don says when it came time for the one on one interviews, it was 'at times difficult when asked tough, personal questions about my life and my journey but people will hear us say things we've never said before.'

Joe Don says 'its a little bit of everything and makes the perfect stocking stuffer.'  Now if I could just figure out how to fit Joe Don in my stocking.

TV Appearances

Rascal Flatts has a busy few weeks coming up.  They will perform tonight at 8 on 'The Voice' and will host the CMT Artist of the Year show.  Joe Don is looking forward to that award show. 'That's a special one for country music. We have 7 artists that will be presented that night.  Of course that information is not release yet, but I know.'  Try as I might, I couldn't get him to give us any hints.  Not even when I said pretty please. 'Not even with a sugar on top.'  Rascal Flatts will host the special with Hayden Panettiere from the new show, Nashville December 8th.

Come Wake Me Up

Panettiere's character actually lives in the same home used in the video for 'Come Wake Me Up,' a video Joe Don had a blast filming.  'It was fun to step out and play a character.  Plus I got to make out with my wife. It's been awhile.'  And the cameras and crew didn't seem to bother them. 'It was weird at all. It was fun. It was a lot of fun and I'd love to shoot another video with her pretty quick because I need to make out with her again. It's been awhile.'  Plus Joe Don got to drive a Bugatti car that goes up to 250 miles per hour.  So what was more fun, driving the car or making out with his wife in the pool? 'The pool scene.  The car was fun but you're talking about a hot woman. But the car was pretty bad to the bone. The owner took me for a ride and I just about lost my lunch. It was way too much car for me.'

Family

Joe Don will have some time off to spend the holidays with his family.  'I can't wait.  I'll be home Thursday to sit on the couch and just chill.' His two kids will surely keep him busy.  'Jagger is 4 year-old and Raquel is two and they are the beat of my heart and keep me going.'

Here's the family enjoying a trip to Walt Disney World.  The picture of the happy family was captured by My Fox Orlando.
