Did you hear about the 1.6 magnitude earthquake that occurred in New York this week? Well, it was actually just west of Buffalo.

According to WIVB, this occurred on Tuesday night near Lake Erie. The epicenter of the earthquake was over 22 miles north-northwest of Erie, Pennsylvania and 37.5 miles north-northeast of Conneaut, Ohio.

The earthquake, which was five kilometers deep, happened around 10:20 p.m."

Granted, we didn't feel much of this in New York, but still crazy when you hear about them in the North East.
