You're summer trip may soon be a little cheaper. Gas is going down just in time for summer travel.

According to AAA, the average gas prices across the country continue to fall. They even say we could be paying less than two dollars per gallon to fill our tanks.

“Gas prices have been trending lower now for the past month and there are no signs of pump prices changing gears toward more expensive for the summer season,” said Jeanette Casselano, AAA spokesperson. “Prices are dropping due to cheaper crude oil and at the same time U.S. supply is keeping pace with demand.“The national average is poised to fall to at least $2.70 this week – an indication pump prices may be even cheaper this summer.”

Prices have been steadily declining over the last few weeks. It's about 7-cents cheaper than last week, 13-cents less than a month ago and 18 cents cheaper than a year ago.

According to News 10 ABC, in New York state, the average gallon of gas is $2.75 a gallon. Find the prices at the pump near you at AAA.com.
