Car Catches Fire at Jefferson County Fair Demo Derby

Firefighter John Beese had a close call at the Jefferson County Fair demolition derby. His yellow 1027 car caught fire. Luckily the Rodman Fire Department firefighter was able to escape before being injured.

7 year-old Addison was the stands and caught the demo derby fire while watching with her father Brian, who shared it with Newzjunky.

This isn't the first demo derby accident. Last August a demolition derby car went over a concrete wall at the St Lawrence Fair in Gouverneur, according to the Watertown Daily Times.
