Culture Fest 2014 [PHOTOS, VIDEOS]

After a sold out first year, Culture Fest returned this year with the premier collection of the international food, music and crafts returns to showcase what makes Utica the International City of Central New York.

There was food Sampling from many of Central New York’s local and international restaurants, a collection of artisans and craftsmen and demonstrations of dance, music and art and that bring a world of culture into one place.

Julian Noga CNY Cultural Ambassador Award

The Julian Noga Cultural Ambassador Award recognizes a member of the CNY community who embodies the spirit of diversity, perseverance and accomplishment in the face of adversity.

The 2014 Cultural Ambassador Award was presented to Juanita Bass by Townsquare Media's Karen Carrey & Bill Keeler with Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente and Senator Joseph Griffo along with the 2013 recipient, Julian Noga. Picente and Griffo presented Juanita with proclamations from both Oneida County and the New York State Senate honoring her commitment to our community. Anthony Brendisi also sent a proclamation.
