We know firsthand about flooding in central New York, especially this past week with all the flood warnings, thunderstorms and rain, rain, rain.  A year ago, Nashville, Tenessee was devasted by floods, much of which didn't get as much media attention as the nation's focus was mainly on the BP oil spill along the gulf coast.  But now, a concert will take place in Nashville in observance of the one year anniversary of the flooding in Music City USA.

The Grand Ole Opry will remember the first anniversary of the devastating Nashville floods, which caused extensive damage to the Opry House, with a star-studded show on May 3rd.

Play On, Nashville will include performances from Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan and Charlie Daniels.

A commemorative print will be available for purchase at the Opry House that night, with proceeds going to Hands On Nashville, the volunteer organization that provided relief for many residents after the flooding.
