CNY Veterans Parade And Expo At NYS Fairgrounds Saturday

There are a number of events taking place through the weekend in observance of Veterans' Day, Monday, November 11th. A special Central New York Veterans Parade And Expo are taking place this Saturday at the NYS Fairgrounds, in Syracuse. Check out the details.

Expo 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

On Nov. 9 at the NYS Fairgrounds, we will be holding the 6th Annual CNY Veterans Parade and Expo. The purpose of the event is “Thanking Our Veterans” of every generation and conflict.

The one and one-half hour long parade features more than 90 veterans and military organizations from throughout Central New York and beyond.

The Expo, held in the Center of Progress building, features displays with a special emphasis on military history, local companies, and local organizations helping present military personnel or veterans. The VA and other organizations present information about services available to veterans of any age. There will once again be a presentation about TRI-Care for retirees. New this year will be a Kids' Area, Sponsored by TOPS, that will feature activities, games, displays and even face painting."
